I wanted to try something different so I took one of my collages and simplified it into shapes to experiment with it.

Monster Map

I started taking my map drawings and turning them into digital pieces. I'd like to clean these up, but for the time being, I wanted to experiment with the first shapes I had made. Each shape comes from the outlines of one of my remembered paths. They are overlapped in the order in which they occurred (so the first one is on the bottom, the second one on top of that, etc etc.) I see this as a new space for my memories to interact. They overlap one another; they are malleable; they can be forgotten and vanish completely. Below are some of my experiments:
