Airplane Scans

A lot of the imagery I plan to include in my thesis involves sky and airplanes, so I wanted to look deeper into my fascination with this subject matter. I have been creating scans from various magazines, books, newspapers, etc. that relate to the theme of airplanes. The newspapers that I have been scanning belonged to my mom, so I definitely have a personal connection the materials I'm scanning. Although these connect to my mom and her past, I am trying to relate this imagery to my own thesis project. To me, planes are a personal "good luck charm" that I always see when I need some help/guidance in life. I want to use the plane-themed imagery in these magazines as backdrops or patterns to my larger thesis project, and relate this imagery to my own mental health.
