Guswalks

I am beginning to observe more things on my walks with Gus that I probably wouldn't look for if I wasn't doing this project. I was caught by how shadow's create different effects and how they look against a certain surface. Mostly houses. Or i'm connecting colors that I see a lot when i'm walking like reds, greens, yellows. I've also noticed looking at people's houses and or porches show a lot of character, you can kind of get a sense of who lives there, if they have a family or they live alone, you can see if they have pets or not cause usually i see a cat in the window or a dog barking. It just makes me think of things like that. Thats the thoughts I get when walking by these homes.

ps. I don't know why the photos are blurry :(

  2. other thoughts.
some of your photos (including last three (shopping basket, chair on porch, bush before house) have object at lower right. probably more do, if I would look for them. the chair and the shopping cart, especially, *rhyme* in a way. isolated objects, bespeaking something about the humans who last used them, and left them there.

are you guided, in what you choose to photograph, by what Gus pays attention to, alerts you to? (just curious, think probably not, but worth knowing either way.)

these get better with repeated viewings!
