Summary

Years after the extinction of the human race a robot named Ipsum is responsible for delivering all the data collected from human history to a living source. Ipsum reboots/wakes up(1) inside of the storage compartment built by the scientist to keep him safe.(2) After rebooting, ipsum is unsure of his purpose and checks his surroundings for answers(3). Later on he receives a message notifying Ipsum about his mission to deliver the data(4). He begins his journey in search of a living source. After a long period of searching he comes across a trail that could be a sign of life. Ipsum follows the long trail(5), after hours of following the trail his radar notifies him of a sign of movement in the distance(6). He follows the signal and finds a robot named Lorem, he shares information about his mission(7), Lorem decides to help him out. They team up and continue the mission of finding the living source(8). Lorem takes him to a portal where he can find what he is looking for in the Beyond(9). 

Ipsum enters the portal, it takes him to a room where he needs to deliver the data that lies within him(10). He steps on to the analysis beam that decides whether or not the data is qualified to enter the beyond(11). The beam decides that ipsum’s data is unfit to enter the beyond and sends him to the corrupt pit(12). (As the viewer’s, we see the main character die off but the following scene reveals important information about the story) the camera pans out and reveals that ipsum is not the only robot in the corrupt pit(13), there are hundreds of other robots that were sent to the corrupt pit and others are in line waiting to step onto the analysis beam. A robot from the line is qualified and we follow it to the Beyond(14) where we as the viewer find out that these robots are just files in a Ascenzia computer(15), a computer used by scientists that creates simulations of life in different environments to find the proper fit. The entire time the source of life that the robots were looking for was a scientist in charge of analyzing the data from the many different simulations taking place in the computer.
